By registering for or booking a Global Teacher program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Booking & Expression of Interest
A $100 Expression of Interest (EOI) fee is required to register for a Global Teacher program.

Participation involves inherent risks associated with international travel.

You acknowledge that participation involves personal risk, including illness, injury, delays, or loss.
To the extent permitted by law, Global Teacher is not liable for these risks.
13. Third-Party Services
Global Teacher works with third-party providers (e.g. accommodation, transport, schools, tour operators).
We are not liable for:

In the event of a medical emergency, Global Teacher may arrange treatment on your behalf.
All associated costs remain your responsibility.
15. Image Use
Photos and videos may be taken during programs for promotional purposes.
By participating, you consent to this use. You may opt out by notifying us in writing prior to departure.

Bookings are non-transferable unless approved in writing by Global Teacher.
18. Complaints
Any issues must be raised during the program with your team leader.
If unresolved, complaints must be submitted in writing within 30 days of program completion.
19. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
A $100 Expression of Interest (EOI) fee is required to register for a Global Teacher program.
- This fee secures your place during the interest phase.
- The EOI fee is:
- Fully refundable if the program does not proceed.
- Non-refundable if you choose to withdraw after registering.
- The EOI fee will be credited toward your program cost if the program is confirmed.
2. Program Confirmation & Deposit
Once minimum numbers are reached, the program will be officially confirmed.
- You will be notified and issued with a payment schedule.
- At this stage, a deposit (typically 10% of the program cost) is required to secure your place.
- Your booking is only fully confirmed once the deposit has been paid.
3. Payments
- All payments must be made in accordance with the provided payment schedule unless otherwise agreed.
- Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in cancellation of your booking.
- Prices are quoted in AUD unless otherwise stated.
- International or domestic flights
- Travel insurance
- Visas and passport costs
- Some meals and personal expenses

- Exchange rate fluctuations
- Supplier cost changes
- Availability
5. Cancellations & Refunds (Participant)
If you cancel your participation after program confirmation:
- 60+ days before departure:
Refund available minus unrecoverable costs - 30–59 days before departure:
50% of program cost payable (including deposit) - 0–29 days before departure:
No refund
You may request to transfer to another program where operationally possible. Fees may apply.
6. Cancellation by Global Teacher
If Global Teacher cancels a program:
- Before confirmation:
Full refund of EOI fee - After confirmation:
Full refund of payments made
A credit for future programs may be offered in place of a refund.
7. Force Majeure
Global Teacher is not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Pandemics
- Government restrictions
- Political unrest
- Supplier failures
8. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory for all participants.
Your policy must cover:
- Medical expenses
- Emergency evacuation
- Trip cancellation
9. Travel Requirements
You are responsible for:
- Holding a valid passport (minimum 6 months validity)
- Obtaining visas and required documentation
- Meeting entry requirements for your destination

Programs may be subject to change due to:
- Weather
- Local conditions
- School or partner availability
- Safety considerations
11. Health, Safety & Conduct
Participation involves inherent risks associated with international travel.
By joining, you agree to:
- Act respectfully toward participants, partners, and local communities
- Follow all instructions from Global Teacher staff and team leaders
- Comply with local laws and cultural expectations

You acknowledge that participation involves personal risk, including illness, injury, delays, or loss.
To the extent permitted by law, Global Teacher is not liable for these risks.

- Service disruptions beyond our control
