Our program is nestled between the lush jungle and the serene ocean in a picturesque region of Thailand. We spend a week at the exquisite Eco-logic resort, perfectly integrated into its natural surroundings, providing ample opportunities for exploration of the local area. TCDF, our esteemed partner in Thailand, manages the resort, and all profits directly contribute to supporting local Thai students with special and diverse needs. We collaborate with nearby local schools, forging partnerships with appreciative teachers who value our assistance in their classrooms. The Eco-logic resort offers various accommodation options, and there is an array of included activities for team members to participate in. Following our fulfilling 5-day placement and professional development workshop, the team embarks on a journey to the stunning coastal region to bask in sun, sea, and exciting adventures, including visits to temples, waterfalls, hot springs, fish feeding, exploration of vibrant night markets, and delightful beach trips.

Here's a detailed itinerary for our program in Thailand:
Day 1 - Arrival:
- Arrive in Ranong either from Bangkok (by flight) or Phuket (by bus).
- Additional night accommodation is provided if necessary (in either Bangkok or Phuket)
- Private transfer to our accommodation at the Eco-logic resort.
- Meet the team, settle in, and attend orientation meetings.
Days 2-6 - Teacher Training:
- 8 AM to 12 PM: Engage in 5 days of intensive teacher training at local schools.
- Training includes observations, modeling, lesson planning, reflection, and feedback.
- Receive support from fellow team members and a dedicated team leader who travels between schools.
- After school, debrief, collaborate with colleagues, and partake in jungle exploration, river swims, and included activities like yoga, Thai massage, and a cooking lesson.
Day 7 - Professional Development Workshop:
- Collaboratively design and present a professional development workshop for local teachers at the close by TCDF school.
Days 8-9 - Excursions:
- Embark on 2 days of exciting excursions to immerse in local culture and explore Thailand's wonders.
- Explore hot springs and mountain temples, visit vibrant night markets, and experience the iconic coastline.
Day 10 - Departure:
- Conclude the program with a debriefing and farewell.
- Transfers back to Bangkok or Phuket are included.

Things to consider
- You will need to arrive a day earlier in either Bangkok or Phuket in order to get domestic transport (bus or flight) to Ranong. (extra night accommodation and transport included)
- Ecologic resort provides and authentic experience in the heart of Thailand surrounded by nature. The isolation does mean occasional issues with hot water and electricity. Also standard rooms are fitted with fans and not A/C.
- Ecologic resort requires going up and down steps and thus those with mobility issues may wish to discuss accessibilty with our team.
- Public transport and location limit the ability to head out on your own in the afternoons / evenings.
- Level of English with local teachers can vary, we work closely with our partners to help ensure placements with teachers that have a minimum level of English
Excursion Add-on
We are excited to offer an option to extend your stay with a few extra days of excursions beyond the included program. This extension allows participants to experience some of the most stunning natural beauty our destinations have to offer.
- 2 extra nights accomodation (4 star hotel) w/ meals.
- Additional day 1: Bus south to Phuket, afternoon elephant sanctuary experience.
- Additional Day 2: Full day speed boat tour to admire the islands of the Andaman Sea including world famous Maya and Phi Phi.
