Our Philippines program continues to be a popular choice, and with good reason. Our location is strategically situated in Cavite, just south of Manila. This offers the convenience of being close to the international airport while providing a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
We collaborate with OzPhil College of Cavite Inc. They not only host our teacher placements but also arrange tours to nearby public schools with whom they maintain close affiliations. On our dedicated Professional Development workshop day, we will eagerly exchange expertise and insights with local educators, fostering a mutually enriching experience.
During this immersive experience, participants will enjoy a week-long stay at a local hotel with resort facilities. Following each day's school placement, you'll have your afternoons free to unwind and partake in a variety of activities. Whether you prefer lounging by the pool, exploring nearby shopping centres, treating yourself to a rejuvenating massage, or even teeing off for a round of golf, the options are plentiful.
Following our educational endeavours, the team will embark on an exciting journey to the enchanting Cebu region. Here, two full days of captivating excursions await, allowing our team to immerse themselves in the beauty and culture of Cebu before returning to Manila. These days will include a half-day city tour of Cebu and a full-day tour to Oslob. In Oslob, we will have the incredible opportunity to experience a whale shark encounter, visit Sumilon Island, and explore a stunning waterfall.
We are also offering the chance to extend your trip by a few days to visit the stunning world renowned islands of Coron!

Day 1 - Arrival:
- Arrival at the international airport, followed by a transfer to our accommodation.
- Unpack, unwind, and meet the team.
Days 2-6 - Teacher Training:
- Engage in 4 days of teacher placement at local school (8 AM to 12 PM).
- Placement includes observations, modelling, team teaching, lesson planning, reflection, and feedback.
- Receive support from fellow team members as well as a dedicated team leader who is available to support and assist in any way needed.
- On Thursday the group will visit and get a tour of a local state school.
- A half-day tour of Manila is also included on the Friday after a farewell morning tea at the school.
- In the afternoon you can relax by the pool or enjoy opportunities to explore the local area.
Day 7 - Professional Development Workshop:
- Collaboratively design and present a professional development workshop for local teachers.
Days 8-9 - Excursions:
- Fly to Cebu for 2 days of exciting excursions to immerse in local culture and explore the wonders of the Philippines.
- Explore the old city, rencounter whale sharks, visit Sumilon Island, and explore a stunning waterfall.
Day 10 - Departure:
- Flights back from Cebu to Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

Things to Consider
- Participants stay at minimum 4 star accommodation and all included meals are provided by quality restaurants. Regardless, it should be noted that there is always a risk of infectious diseases. We do provide information on the best ways to avoid this.
- We follow the itinerary as close as possible, but unexpected events may require us to make slight modifications. The team leader is constantly working to ensure that we are able to keep to the planned itinerary as much as possible and inform the team of any changes.
- It is fine to arrive at any time of the day for the stat of the program, however, the final day of the program will involve a domestic flight back to Manila. This should be kept in mind when booking international flights.

We are excited to offer an option to extend your stay by 2 extra nights with an add-on excursion to Coron Island. This extension allows participants to experience some of the most stunning natural beauty of the Philippines.
