Teacher Training Program
The Global Teacher program has achieved remarkable success in the capital of Vanuatu, Port Vila. Join us in this stunning South Pacific country known for its exceptional beauty. We have established strong partnerships with the Ministry of Education and Shefa Education Office, ensuring that all participants are placed in local schools conveniently located near our accommodation resort accommodation.
Upon completing the school placement and professional development workshop, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy two days of enriching excursions. These excursions include a full-day island tour, as well as visits to a mesmerizing blue lagoon, a cultural village, and a captivating waterfall.

Day 1 - Arrival:

Here's a detailed itinerary for our program in Vanuatu:
Day 1 - Arrival:
- Arrive and meet the team.
- Get settled and attend an orientation meeting.
Days 2-6 - Teacher Training:
- Spend your mornings (8 AM – 12 PM) in local schools, working alongside Vanuatu teachers in a collaborative and supportive way. You’ll share your own practice while observing, co-teaching, and learning from a new educational setting.
- Afternoons are yours to enjoy! Whether that’s relaxing by the pool or joining in on optional activities like sunset horse rides, fire shows, ATV adventures, or zip-lining through the jungle, our team leaders will help make it happen.
Day 7 - Professional Development Workshop:
- Local teachers are presented with a professional development workshop by team members.
Days 8-9 - Excursions:
- Embark on 2 days of exciting excursions to immerse in local culture and explore Vanuatu's wonders.
- The first day features a full-day tour to Lelepa island, where you'll swim, snorkel, kayak, and explore isolated and stunning beaches. Learn about the traditional culture of the local people as you walk through the island, exploring reefs and caves.
- The second day includes visits to the blue lagoon, waterfalls, and a cultural village, offering rich cultural experiences.
Day 10 - Departure:
- Conclude the program with a debriefing and farewell.

Things to consider
• Vanuatu, like other South Pacific nations, can be more expensive than expected. This should be taken into consideration when budgeting additional meals and activities.
• We make detailed plans for the itinerary but many factors can cause changes without notice. We make every effort to ensure minimal disruption to the planned itinerary.
