The Global Teacher program has achieved remarkable success in the capital of Vanuatu, Port Vila. Join us in this stunning South Pacific country known for its exceptional beauty. We have established strong partnerships with the Ministry of Education and Shefa Education Office, ensuring that all participants are placed in local schools conveniently located near our accommodation at the centrally positioned seaside Grand Hotel and Casino.
Upon completing the school placement and professional development workshop, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy two days of enriching excursions. These excursions include a full-day island tour, as well as visits to a mesmerizing blue lagoon, a cultural village, and a captivating waterfall.

Day 1 - Arrival:

Day 1 - Arrival:
- Arrive and meet the team.
- Get settled and attend an orientation meeting.
Days 2-6 - Teacher Training:
- 8 AM to 12 PM: Engage in 5 days of intensive teacher training at local schools.
- Training includes observations, modelling, lesson planning, reflection, and feedback.
- Receive support from fellow Australian team members and a team leader who travels between schools.
- Detailed guidance provided for each day's activities.
- Afternoons are free for your leisure. Enjoy nearby activities or relax by the pool.
Day 7 - Professional Development Workshop:
- Local teachers are presented with a professional development workshop by team members.
Days 8-9 - Excursions:
- Embark on 2 days of exciting excursions to immerse in local culture and explore Vanuatu's wonders.
- The first day features a full-day tour to Lelepa island, where you'll swim, snorkel, kayak, and explore isolated and stunning beaches. Learn about the traditional culture of the local people as you walk through the island, exploring reefs and caves.
- The second day includes visits to the blue lagoon, waterfalls, and a cultural village, offering rich cultural experiences.
Day 10 - Departure:
- Conclude the program with a debriefing and farewell.
