Empires, epics and education
Eight days across Turkey, from Istanbul’s old city to the Aegean and the travertine terraces of Pamukkale, built around two school visits that open up Turkish classrooms through observation and conversation with local teachers and school leaders. Between them run the ANZAC battlefields at Gallipoli, the myth and archaeology of Troy and Pergamon, the marble streets of Ephesus, and the hillside village of Sirince.
