Terms and Conditions
By booking a tour with us, you acknowledge and agree that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them. Please read them carefully. In these Terms and Conditions “we”, “us” and “our” mean and refer to Global Teacher Pty Ltd, ACN 667 460 942.

Governing Law
- These terms and conditions apply to all bookings, and where any person makes bookings on behalf of other traveller(s), that person is taken to be an agent for the other traveller(s) and on his or her authority will bind all such other traveller(s) to these terms and conditions.
- Australian Consumer Law applies to these Terms & Conditions, and nothing contained in them seeks to exclude or abrogate your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Booking & Tour Confirmation
- Tours will only proceed upon reaching the minimum number of participants, usually 6 unless otherwise specified. No deposit is required until this minimum number is reached.
- Once the minimum number has been confirmed, we will notify you that the tour is guaranteed. At this point, your booking will be converted to a deposit-based package with an associated payment plan.
- It is strongly recommended that you do not purchase flights until the tour has been officially confirmed as going ahead.
Deposit & Payment
- Upon confirmation of the tour, a 10% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place.
- A payment plan will be provided and you agree to make payments according to the schedule. Failure to adhere to this schedule may result in the cancellation of your booking.
- At your discretion, you may make lump sum payments earlier than scheduled.
- Unless expressly stated, flights (international or domestic), visas, insurance, and most meals and beverages are NOT INCLUDED in the tour cost.
- You are solely responsible for the WeTravel service fee and credit card processing fees incurred as part of your payment.
Refunds & Cancellations
- If you cancel your booking 60 or more days prior to departure, 50% of the tour cost (excluding the non-refundable deposit) will be refunded.
- If you cancel 0 to 60 days prior to departure, no refund will be given.
- If we cancel a tour for reasons beyond our control, any refund will be less unrecoverable costs. We are not responsible for any additional expenses you may have incurred (e.g. flights, visas, insurance)
Itinerary Changes
- We reserve the right to modify itineraries, activities or inclusions due to operational needs, weather, or participant numbers. Reasonable notice will be provided where possible.
Travel Insurance
- Travel insurance is mandatory and not included in the tour price. You must provide evidence of appropriate coverage before departure.
- We are not responsible for loss, injury, delays, or costs due to changes in schedule, illness, pandemics, missed transport, or third-party service failures.
Health and Safety
- You acknowledge that tour activities may involve some personal risk. We reserve the right to cancel any activity if safety concerns arise.
- You must comply with local laws, carry and manage any required medications, and consume alcohol responsibly in accordance with local regulations.
- Participants must be 18 years or older to join a tour.
Dietary Requirements
- Dietary needs must be communicated in writing before the tour. We will do our best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee full compliance in all locations. You accept all risks associated with food and beverage consumption.
Indemnity
- You agree to indemnify us from any loss, damage, liability, or claims resulting from:
- Breach of these terms or applicable laws,
- Negligent, fraudulent, or reckless conduct,
- Damage to property or injury caused by you.
Privacy Policy
- We may use your personal information to operate the tour. Information may be shared with service providers and managed according to our privacy policy.
Use of Your Image
- You consent to being photographed or filmed during the tour and allow us to use your image for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be included, please notify us in writing prior to departure.
Medical Treatment Consent
- You authorise us to arrange medical treatment on your behalf if necessary. You are responsible for any related costs.
- You must provide emergency contact details before the tour. If urgent medical decisions are required and your contact is unavailable, we will act in good faith on your behalf.
Governing Law
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia.
- We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time.
