We are excited to announce our upcoming 2025 program in Nepal! Based in Kathmandu, participants will enjoy minimal domestic travel upon arrival, with ample opportunities to explore the vibrant city in the afternoons.
We are particularly excited to partner with Volunteers International Nepal (VIN) again. With their strong reputation and established presence, we’re confident that their support will ensure a seamless and enriching experience for all involved.
Our teachers will engage directly with schools in the capital, experiencing the warmth and hospitality of the local community. This unique opportunity will allow them to share and learn in a dynamic educational environment. Additionally, we will be hosting a professional development workshop for local teachers, giving our participants a leadership role in sharing their teaching expertise and building lasting connections.
Accommodations will be luxurious, providing a comfortable and supportive environment throughout the program. With time set aside to relax and explore Kathmandu, participants will also enjoy a two-day excursion to Pokhara, where they’ll immerse themselves in the natural beauty and rich culture of one of Nepal’s top destinations.

Below is a more detailed itinerary:
Day 1 - Arrival:
- Arrival at the international airport, followed by a transfer to our accommodation.
- Unpack, unwind, and meet the team.
Days 2-6 - Teacher Training:
- Engage in 5 days of teacher placement at local schools (8 AM to 12 PM).
- Placement includes observations, modelling, team teaching, lesson planning, reflection, and feedback.
- Receive support from fellow team members as well as a dedicated team leader who is available to support and assist in any way needed.
- After school, participate in debrief sessions and collaborate with colleagues.
- Relax in the afternoon or enjoy opportunities to explore the amazing city.
Day 7 - Professional Development Workshop:
- Collaboratively design and present a professional development workshop for local teachers.
Days 8-9 - Excursions:
- Transfers to Pokhara for 2 days of exciting excursions to immerse in local culture and explore the wonders of the region.
Day 10 - Departure:
- Transfers back to Kathmandu

Excursion Add-on
2 Day, 2 night add on. You will leave Pokhara and head towards Chitwan National Park, with a stop off for some white water rafting. The group will then stay in Chitwan for two nights. Doing a morning trek of the national park after the first night. Chitwan has a rich flora and fauna and is home to one of the last populations of single-horned Asiatic rhinoceros and is also one of the last refuges of the Bengal Tiger. The group will have a final night in Chitwan and then head back to Kathmandu the following day.
