One of the best professional development programs you can ever undertake. The organisation from start to finish was professional and supportive all the participants to maximise their experiecne while in Vanuatu. For me personally, I was humbled by the opportunity to work with students, teachers and school leaders. My highlight was the full day professional learning workshop we had the opportunity to run for the Vanuatu teachers. The Vanuatu teachers were so responsive and I had a ball. I hope to go back in the near future.

This was my first experience with Global Teacher (to Vanuatu) and without a doubt it has had a big impact on my life. To see how fellow educators practice their craft was a great learning experience. Meeting the children was a highlight u2014 how happy they were with life in general and so excited to see us return each day. The preparation, communication and leadership pre-trip and while we were there was fantastic. Sheridan and Ilana led us with confidence, flexibility and inclusivity u2014 along with Mike, doing much behind the scenes work with patience and integrity. I would highly recommend for all teachers to consider signing up for a Global Teacher experience, so well planned and executed by Mike Stanley and his team.

Global Teacher Komodo was a deeply humbling and rewarding experience. I was lucky enough to share this with a fantastic group of passionate, fun and generous teachers committed to personal development and making a genuine difference. Schools were so welcoming and supportive. Working alongside local English teachers in Labuan Bajo was a privilege — as was interacting with the keen, appreciative students. The cultural excursions were outstanding, from visiting Komodo National Park to spending the night on a traditional boat. I can't recommend this program highly enough for any educator who loves travelling and connecting with culture.

I had the incredible opportunity to travel with Global Teacher in the Philippines, where I joined a group of knowledgeable teachers to deliver a workshop for local Filipino teachers. I recently returned from the Global Teacher experience in Lovina, Bali. If you're thinking about going, I highly recommend it. I mostly enjoyed connecting with many people that I wouldn't have met otherwise. I'm still running through the amazing conversations I was a part of and the eye-opening moments throughout the time there. The placement was very welcoming with amazing teachers and children benefiting from a caring environment. This program had just the right mix of professional development and extra activities.

I have loved every minute of both my Lovina, Bali and my Port Vila, Vanuatu Global Teachers experiences. Combining my love of teaching and my love of travelling is the experience I have been chasing for many years. Global Teacher was an amazing program that was incredibly well organised. Full support was offered in the lead up and during the trip to ensure a smooth program. The Thai program was hosted at the amazing EcoLogic Thailand. The schools we worked at were warm and welcoming. The children and teachers alike enjoyed the mutual learning experience. Delivering the workshops to local teachers was also a highlight. The local excursions were a fun way to continue building connections. 100% would recommend to a friend and will be participating in another program in the near future.

The Global Teacher program not only provides a wonderful opportunity for professional development, but it is also an excellent way to give back. What an amazing 9 days I experienced teaching and learning in Lovina. I wanted an immersive experience, and Global Teacher was perfect. Like most of us, we look for ways we can travel and experience new cultures within our profession. Global Teachers did exactly that for me. A week of co-teaching in a primary school, engaging with teachers and students in and out of the classrooms. Experiences with their culture and how they learn, teach and play amongst themselves were the best part. The adventures we took as a group to the waterfalls, the daily debriefs and most of all the new teacher friends I have made in this program I will cherish for life. I would definitely recommend anyone to take part in this experience.

What a fantastic experience I have had. The structure of this program is excellent; it supports teachers and allows them to explore beyond their capacities to give helping hands to those teachers striving for more skills. I had access to the best accommodation, transport, food and sightseeing, which were all organised ahead of time, as well as pick up from the airport and drop off. Also, daily debriefing and, most importantly, respect among the team members; it was terrific. I felt like I had known them years ago. The Global Teacher Bali Program provides a unique opportunity to combine travel and teaching, and see a side of Bali that most people would never get to experience. The Global Teacher program allows you to gain real insight into the education system in Bali. You interact and work closely with the very sweet and warm Balinese teachers and students with the aim of providing and gaining PL experience. During the program we stayed in the most beautiful villa on a remote mountain close to the schools. The villa's very own Balinese cooks served us meals twice a day which were divine. A choice of excursions to see more of Bali were included — white water rafting in the jungle was so much fun. I would recommend this program to any teacher who loves adventure, luxury and helping others.
