Graduating from university was a great achievement for me, but I had a sense of adventure and desire for travel that my arts degree just couldn’t fulfil. At first, I saw signing up for my Global TESOL course as a way of getting a recognized qualification that would allow me to get a job anywhere in the world, but little did I know it would become much more than that. The course unleashed a creative side in me that I hadn’t seen before. I came to the realization that learning could be exciting and interactive.
Since I completed that 5-day in-class GLOBAL TESOL course eight years ago, I have had the opportunity to work in five different countries and to travel to over a dozen more for both business and pleasure. It led me to undertake and complete my master degree in applied linguistics. I have also made countless friends and I was lucky enough to meet my wife while travelling and teaching overseas. Making the decision to take the Global TESOL course has set me down a road that has changed my life in a way I could never have imagined and I haven’t looked back.
